Prezentacja dzieł Picasso w Ammanie

W czerwcu 2008 roku otwarta była wystawa dzieł Pablo Picasso w Ammanie w National Museum of Arts. Wystawę przygotował Instytut Cervantesa w Ammanie. Poniżej prezentujemy zdjęcia z jordańskiego muzeum, także opis filmu
poświęcony twórczości Picasso.

Przedstawiony film został nagrodzony specjalną nagrodą jury na festiwalu w Cannes w 1956 roku (cykliczne seanse w muzeum o godz. 19). Reżyser Henri-Georges Clouzot za pomocą prostych linii graficznych, wprawadził widza w świat artyzmu Picasso, prezentując w formie prostych animowanych czarno-białych klipów, jak powstawały wybrane dzieła
artysty.

W synopsis Charlotte Garson napisała: „with this film Henri-Georges Clouzot gives the specrtators the possibility of contemplating the technique and the way of working of one of the major geniuses of the 20th century, Pablo Picasso. It was filmed in the study of the Malagan painter with a narrative cinematographic techniques, which makes the one of us watches hypnotized the movement of the brush until the witness the birth of an art work”.

„Thanks to the semitransparent linen and to the special inks, the painting is realised directly on a cinematographic image, and can be followed by the spectator: the fabric has been replaced by the screen. The creativity of Henri-Georges Clouzot made of this documentary film of suspense, of adventures, a psychological drama, and animation of cartoon, everything simultaneosly”.

Ponadto wspomniano, że film uznano w 1984 roku jako ważny element dziedzictwa narodowego Francji. Film z muzyką Georgesa Aurica, składa się na kompilację jazzu, muzyki klasycznej i flamenco. Jako ciekawostkę należy podać, że Picasso po ukończeniu tego filmu zniszczył prawie każdy obraz, który tam prezentowano.
